Demand More than Justice
» KEY POINTS Just trying to pack the Supreme Court and force potentially un-Constitutional rules like term limits around justices is not enough to fix the systematic issues within the Judicial Branch. Only a set of Constitutional Amendments that fundamentally redefine the courts, realign their relationship with the other branches of government, and create a deference to the people they serve can bring about any real and lasting change. Modifications cannot be limited to the highest institution in the land; they must be deployed and enforced at all levels.

The Divided States of America
I’ve been theorizing for a while now that the United States of America is never going to be united again. Or at least any time soon. I feel that a name change and some logistics may be in order soon. The Divided States of America seems more accurate and realistic here in 2022.

» KEY POINTS Certain members of Congress over time have given themselves an un-Constitutional unchecked power to control the entire legislative process. All of that power has eroded cooperation, debate, collaboration, compromise, civil discourse, and the general functionality of the federal government. The only way to remove that power is to amend the Constitution, enforce a legislative methodology, and severely punish those who try to circumvent the rules for personal or Party gain.

» KEY POINTS Congress is a do-nothing organization because they have unlimited time and resources and are paid handsomely no matter what. In order to create some urgency and perhaps make Congress more productive, we need a set of Constitutional Amendments to require turnover and make sure Congresspeople have far less of everything. At the end of the day, we would return Congress to what it was originally conceived as by the Founders: a part-time, citizen legislature.

It Would Take Another 9/11 Event to Unite Our Country

In Britain the law courts interpret the written laws passed by Parliament, they also create “laws of tort” which is where a decision made in one court enables a later court judgment, to use that decision as a precedent.

Fix Congress? No, Demolish It!
» KEY POINTS Congress cannot represent the will of the people because the Constitution is irreparably flawed. Only by Amending the Constitution can we better the Legislative Branch for everyone. The House of Representatives needs to be changed from a “winner takes all” system using voting districts to one with a proportional mix for all the varied political views in America. While the Senate needs to remain a State check on Federal power, that does not mean each State should have equal power no matter its size and/or population.

There is a plethora of components that people agree on, but no two people will ever agree on every aspect.
