Politics does not dictate our collective cultural mindset as much as it simply reflects it; We've got to look in the mirror sometimes, and we've got one.

Johnny Mercer Calls Young Labour MP An "Inbetweener"
Labour failed to win Boris' old seat and return a Labour MP to Parliament. Labour has engaged in a lot of naval gazing as to why they didn't win the seat. However, Labour should not beat itself up too much. The Conservative retention of the Uxbridge seat was won very narrowly. In other times, the Conservatives would have walked it. Instead, they just about held Boris' old seat. So Labour came within a whisker of grabbing the seat from the Tories.

Saturday, 22 July 2023 By: TB Obwoge Yet another blow to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and the people trying to hold onto their patch of land. We are losing our ability to love
There is no doubt that we are living through a massive attack on personal liberty. For many, this reversal from granting rights to taking away rights signifies the end of democracy as we know it and possibly the start of a sort of fascism. For others, this marks a return to normal, where rights are mostly for the mainstream and where those who are different need to keep their differences private and not expect to exercise then publicly at will.

The NATO meeting in Vilnius on July 11th and 12th, 2023, triggered some unsettling thoughts within me. However, let's first delve into some older events. Since the early days of his career, Vladimir Putin has exhibited a behavior reminiscent of someone from a not-so-distant past. In fact, he has followed in the footsteps of Adolf Hitler, emulating the path that led Hitler to become the historical figure we know today.
