Politicians provide us with all of the comedy gold. We're only mere curators.
You Keep Using This Word ‘Freedom’
Welcome to the Home of the Brave and the Land of the Free. Here is exactly what you are free to do on any of our stirring national holidays, Bruce. You are free to get drunk and burn the hamburgers on the grill. You and the Missus are free to hit the — ack — Independence Day, Memorial Day, Veterans' Day, and/or Presidents' Day sales at Walmart. You are also free to possibly blow your thumb off lighting one of the illegal cherry bombs you had Griffy pick up across the state line last week.

Omar's letter to Larry at Downing Street
Dear Larry My sincerest and heartfelt thoughts are with you as once again your place of residence, your very home at 10 Downing Street, is subject to great turmoil and media attention. The very place where character assassination seems to be a full time occupation rather than running the country. Has it been anything else since your current and soon to be gone itinerant servant moved in with you?

Damn Liberals
“Gentlemen, let me start with introductions,” came a voice from a speaker placed in the center of the table. “At the far side of the table is Ramses II, Pharaoh of Egypt during the exodus. To his right Pope Leo X, head of the Roman Catholic Church during the time of Martin Luther and the great reformation. Next to him is King George III, England’s monarch, when the American Revolution occurred. Our next guest is King Louis XVI, the last monarch of France (holding his severed head). Moving on, we have Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederacy, Adolph Hitler and, last but not least, Joseph Stalin. The one thing that you attendees have in common is a distinct hatred of liberals. Am I correct?”

Mastigia.
Fungi! Nebulo! Sceleris plenissimi! These are but a few Latin words that I feel best express the deep and ever-growing outrage that I, Iuno, Regina Deorum, feel for the current state of American politics and the plight of the American people. The Senate promises democracy while simultaneously disenfranchising the People by exchanging representation for money from corporations. Did I get that right? And while there are plenty of individual politicians I could read to filth, it is your bicameral system, this Democrat vs. Republican thing that you have, that I most detest. I have a special message for each party. And let me be clear from the very beginning: both of them reek like Roman toilets.

Pro-independent Southern Cameroons in Africa
They were not so lucky these fellow countrymen of the African nation called Cameroon in central part of Africa. Of English-speaking expression, these were the cream of intelligentsia who chose to battle it out with a system that had been moribund from independence because of a culture of complacency fuelled by the active participation of political misfits who were as dull as their half-baked education could permit.
