budget travel
If you budget wisely, your travel funds can go a long way, though not as far as you.
Travel the world as a broke 20 year old
Why am I writing this? I have an agenda. It includes a laundry list of places I want to go and people I want to meet. Most people my age are focused more on their love lives or social media image than what else there is to explore in this huge world of ours. And frankly, it is small minded to think that there aren’t bigger and better places than the city, or even country, you’re from. The problem is, I have no idea what I want to do with my life right now. I graduated with a degree in biology and thought I was going to pursue medicine. Even though I still am interested in healthcare because of its stability and huge salary, I am sick of it. I am sick of the rude people, the corrupt companies and policies running the show, and the lack of reward you feel day to day. I want to do something bigger but absolutely no idea where to start.

Top 5 Free Things To Do In London
I love to travel but like many I don't have unlimited funds. I do not like to spend a lot of money when I travel. The less on spend on a single destination the more I get to see. My London trip was planned on my way to Morocco. Seeing that I would have a layover in London I decided to reschedule my outbound flight and decided to stay for four days. I decided to do London as cheap as possible. I probably could have cut a few more corners but I did want to treat myself a little bit.

Surviving Iceland in the Winter. Top Story - April 2020.
I awoke to a dark sky. I craned my neck to see out the window next to my bunk only to find the sun was still tucked behind the snowcapped mountains. I rubbed my swollen eyes in awe. Where I am? I thought. But then I remembered where I had landed just that morning at 5:00AM… Iceland. I was in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Free Things to do in Paris. Top Story - March 2020.
Let's face it. Paris is an expensive love to have. If it's not the endless supply of macarons and croissants draining your bank account, its those pricey exhibition tickets, trips to Disneyland and daily café au laits at quaint river-side cafes. Needless to say, Paris is not the cheapest of beautiful European cities. That said, it doesn't mean that it's not possible to travel around the City of Love on a budget!

New New York Minute
The financial capital of the world and home to such storied sites as the Statue of Liberty, Madison Square Garden, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the United Nations, New York City is truly as exceptional as they come. But whilst the chic and cosmopolitan streets of an episode of “Will & Grace” or “Gossip Girl” may immediately spring to mind when discussing the great melting pot, the five boroughs are also home to a treasure trove of remarkable, down to earth and most importantly affordable restaurants, markets, centers and even a synagogue or two that can double as a raging concert venue if you book it early enough. From the brightly lit sidewalks of Midtown Manhattan to the hustle and bustle of the South Bronx, here are a handful of my all-time favorite local-friendly hangouts exclusively on Vocal+.
