March to Her Orders
If I don’t live to write another short story, I want to be clear that I could write for days about this Steelers fan. I mean where was she when I was in the enlistment ranks? Probably where she needed to be, because had we met back then; things would have been extremely complicated. I could name reasons to try and charm her, but she is far from the charming type. However, know it or not, men march to the orders of women in one way or the other. For this woman, I would enlist for a lifetime!

The Special Treatment
I was walking in the mall and took a quick look in the shoe salon. The she stood, taking a "selfie" and floating in her very space. Not a care in the world, but now she is about to experience someone like never before. One of my days when I decided to dress up, and I wanted to see If I could convince her to an evening with me. Dinner, dance and a late night walk in the park.

It was the Curls that Did it!
If I had one moment in time, and that moment gave me the opportunity gave me a chance to say hello; I'd say it in a way so that you would not forget me. Saw plenty of photos of you and now I'm supposed to sit here and pretend to be cool and just like what I see. It's okay to express just a tad bit and let her see my joy. That look of interest and that look that will give her a comfort of believing in letting go with me should be okay.

Whatever it Takes!
These events are based on a true story! 3:21 on a Tuesday's last stand, and these claims are kicking my but and the callers are not letting up. Pulled up on the final break of the day. I was time to take my usual walk around the building and destress the day and all the other problems that may seem to surface up at any unannounced time. Surprisingly, I received a text from a young lady I met in Houston some time ago. We exchanged words one to the other. I'm not one for texting as part of a conversation, but she was well worth the thumb exercise.

In Your State of Comfort
We all know the saying! One can never be too comfortable, because the enemy is always plotting. This is not about the “haves” and “have nots”; clearly it’s about never being too comfortable because so many of your so-called good friends are the ones who are holding the knife. I’m a true believer that no one can break up a marriage but the two individuals that are legally tied together, however; others will try their hardest just because they are not smiling. However, if this taught me anything in life, the fact that I will keep those far away from things that are near to me.

The Value in a Mental Health Session
Not seeing a mental health doctor is the first sign of insanity! Now this is something that will do the soul good. I am going to focus on three areas or so that could help us all tremendously. Think of it as venting to a friend you really don't know, but there is not a worry of that friend airing the laundry out or talking to about friends about issues that is about to unravel your brain and soul. Now I know the stigma attached to seeing a doctor about some of the things that are going on and what makes life hard may be a difficult event; however, just understand he or she may be just as in need for a good conversation as you. We all need each other, but a doctor is a professional way to see someone with boundaries.

Unfortunately, I only know two speeds in love! “Unconditional” and get the hell on with your bull shit! Dating can be so difficult these days! I try not to brag, however, I do consider myself to be a decent catch. I don't compare to any others and try not to compete against any man off the court or a field of play. However, as I make preparation and plans for you to be my prize, but this day I see so much anticipation, for you not to even be there. Saw a dress the other day that would look so good on you, but far from your heart, knowing your dress size was the greatest clue. However, it was the night before Valentine's, and I messed up sending those flowers in box to you.

The 1 that Got Away
I have been thinking this for years and I told her this some time ago. Now what I'm about to say may scare the little girl away, but will give full understanding to a woman of true caliber. Now we can all debate if true love has hit us at one time in our lives, but I can surely attest that the one who was intended to elevate and complete a man only comes around with not too many opportunities. No this is not love, but understanding that I have learned the lesson about the one who got away. Men are slapped with many chances for love and romance. Any half way decent man can attract a woman if he has manners, direction and goals in life. Sometimes the choices can overwhelm a man, and I for sure fell victim to this situation.
