The 3rd day before Valentine’s
Another bright sunny Southern Cal day and the long work day is finally over! Now, I have to fight this LA traffic, but the day is so young and there is no need to let a Friday night in LA go without recreation. The traffic was full and I had to walk to the parking garage, which was two blocks away. I took my chance as I crossed the faded crosswalk, there she was at the light, taking a "selfie". I continued to walk, but notices her checking me out from the corner of her eye. Not the bragging type, but I was having an "EMOTY" moment as the slight wind brushed against my pant leg and the soft super 400 blend rolled flawlessly with the stride of my legs. She gave a slight smile, and I returned a kind favor as I displayed my pearly whites, but tried to hide the one tooth slightly out of formation.

Time to Align Yourself
We all say that the dating pool has pee in it! There seem to be too many dating experts out there who know it all. I think the most difficult aspect to take in about most of these men and women experts on dating out here, there is a dent in the armor when it comes to their relationship status. One, can't stay faithful; the other can't find a man but knows everything about them. You name the flaw, this guru has it. However, Alison seems to have all the chips aligned when it comes to the bows and arrows of love making. Not saying that she is perfect and I am not compensated in any form to promote her, but when it comes to dating topics, Alison is one of the best in the game.

I don't know about y'all, but my wheels have completely fallen off! This article is for all the ones who had that supporting spouse or significant other in their corner, and treated them like a sub-level human after "making it". Yes, I have not lost all faith in relationships, but I will never put another women through school and to see her run off with another guy.

The Art of Gift Giving
This is a wonderful time during the calendar year! Although I’m not a fan of holiday gifting, I still admire the craft of knowing the person you are close to, or trying to get close to and gift giving is so important when it comes to any relationship. I use to be so ticked when I use to spend hours and consideration for a Mother’s Day gift, and return, to receive a Captain America watch for Father’s Day. Placing consideration into a gift is not a gender specific task! Men, if you don’t receive something special the only you can benefit from, then it’s time to consider a new mate.

Yet again, another life has been taken away from us and that is a bottom line that we need to prevent. I'm not here to smear what we already know. Unfortunately, these brothers will get what is coming to them, as all officers that swear to uphold the law and protect the citizens of their local community. This article is not about defunding the police, or backing the blue, but a highlight of those who excuse their title for good character.

Fine Dining
Excuse the method to my madness, but there many levels when it comes to fine dining. I can remember when I was on a date as a novice and a young woman and I were about to enjoy a good meal. Me, not knowing and lacking couth, the server poured a sample amount of wine in my glass. I gave the server a strange look and told him not to be shy and fill my glass up. Knowing what I know now, she could have crawled under the table after my top tier restaurant decorum.

The Valentine's Day Massacre
I am a hopeless romantic by all means! I'm the first guy to purchase a gift or send flowers on "just because" terms. As the New Yorkers would say, I got receipts! However, I am not the one to ever get caught up into holiday spending. No, far from cheap, I just like for my coins to be spent in a sensible manner. I could be far off the radar, but the emotional chip needs to be put in check when it comes to this day. In the past, I made the effort to buy flowers, plan dates and I thought to myself! What makes Valentine's Day different from any other day when I am doing the same process. I am always buy flowers and planning dates! Is this not the man's role when he is in courting mode, and in relationship mode? So after all these years, what sets Valentine's Day special from any other day? Lets try to look at how this day got started!

Why are Black Men Loving Less?
What kind of men are loving the women of tomorrow. I joke with my nieces a great deal about not being able to date until their mid 30s and with the quality of men coming out, I'm starting to joke less about the subject and want them to focus on themselves first. I have two sons and I ask them about girls in school and I ask my daughter about the boys. Yes, they are fairly young and I even started late due to my shyness. My first girlfriend wasn't until my Sr, Year of high school. Yes I was shy, but I'm concerned of this group of men we have today and the ones that are coming up.

The Level of Mental Minimum
I Know, I know, the dating pool has pee in it. Well hopefully after this chlorine, maybe someday we all can get back in and maybe this time with some mental floaties that will prevent us from drowning. I was sitting down with my sister, and we were toying with some thoughts that should be into consideration. So what is the bare minimum one should have when considering jumping in the dating pool? There are so many thoughts that came out of this conversation, so will only cover a few. The most we thought a person should have the bare minimum not to do the following while on a dinner date.

Don't Ask My Social Media
Can we really find out about a person's true character by what he or she post on social media? Me personally, my number one slogan is never to follow me on social media, it might stress the follower out. Granted people use social media for various reasons from dating to business. However, can anyone gather a full understanding of an individual be just reviewing a social media page? This is a very debatable subject, but I beg to differ that there is a clear understand about anyone by just reviewing a few posts or tweets. I have been dismissed or misquoted more than enough times than I can remember and that was truly her loss, and at some times, I dodged a major bullet.
