The Incredible way
One exciting Saturday afternoon, the guys and I decided to play flag football and after what started to appear to be a simple soft touch game of flag football, turned out to be rough and muddy game as the light rain turned into a sudden down pour. We had plans to catch open mic but a trip back to Conyers was too far, and I was sure to miss the opening if I wanted to change clothes. I had some shorts and a shirt in the car and there was a laundry center, which appeared to have light traffic for a Saturday. I saw my opportunity and maybe I could start a quick load, and wash up real fast at the Crusty 8 Motel next door.

If Beauty Froze Time
The power of a women that could clam a storm in a man! The smell of her ways that can coax his desires in the palm of her hand. The gentle breeze by the sound of her voice could make him move mountains. if she plays her cards right, her groove could convince the common man to bring her fountains.

Her Success is your Success
I lived on both sides of the coin when comes to building relationships that fail due to financial infidelity. I have seen my sisters play the role of the breadwinner and have their dreams demolished by a complete knucklehead. I have personally supported an ungrateful woman, to whom I supported and carried through school, to have her choose which she thought was a better man after she was established in her career. I appreciate the story of Judge Lynn Toler because not only it is a story we all could learn from, but it is also on the success level that most pay attention to and cannot debate. The summary of their story was that her marriage with her husband was supportive and comfortable in himself to have take a sacrifice in his business, for her success to blossom. For the complete details of their story, please look it up.

Throw the Whole Damn Text Away!
Sending a quick SMS or DM letting a friend or love one know you are late, or an address to an event is OK and accepted in my standards. However, this method of communication should be only used for minimum reasons. Stop texting people at work! Let them earn a living so they can pay some bills! Women, you cannot wonder why he is not communicating with you during work hours. Simple, he is working! I'm going to give two good reason why data messaging should be eliminated from "normal" communication and this should be a standard that demands someone speak on the phone as much as possible.

The Unfair Life of Natural Glasses.
To understand the skill set for operating a semi, is to understand the beauty of life. We can be very judgmental and compartmentalize people and fit them into our perception based on image. It has nothing to do with strength or rights of passage, but everything to do with determination and proper mindset. The difficult process of driving a manual transmission vehicle has to be one of the most difficult task in our daily lives. Now imagine driving a multi-ton vehicle at the same time of managing weight load from not shifting and causing the semi to roll in the middle of traffic. Now in most cases, the common thought is that no woman can accomplish parallel parking while driving a small vehicle. However, there are a great deal of women that can drive better than some men.

Would You have stayed if You knew the Truth?
Here it is! I don't think that I will get much agreement from the audience, but I am not a firm believer that you are what you attract. Take a moment and let this sink in. Could a person in their right mind, meet an individual and this individual says that I am cheater, abuser, user, and the pit-of-the-Earth and after hearing this; this person would remain in the relationship or continue to get to know this individual? I don't think there is a level of desperation that could be so low. Yes, we see couples on the back end, with both men and women slumber to a codependent level and unfortunately develop a horrible misconception that the abuser is the best situation for them. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Are We Competing ourselves out of Love?
And the winner is..... Absolutely no one! No one wins when a relationship ends. Kids, mutual friends, family and the primary parties all lose out in the end. The short term rewards may seem to be pleasing in the beginning, but the long term effects can be damaging in every aspect. Lets take a long look at where the spirit of competition comes from. It all starts from us playing sports at a young age. We are trained to win at all cost. You see the angry parents at the games, yelling at the refs and wanting to fight the coach because their kid is not getting enough playing time. It starts from a young age, and most times our parents are the primary cause of it. This competitive drive is in us because we are taught to win at everything we do. There is nothing wrong with wanting to win, but do we know when to turn it off? Unfortunately, this competitive drive inadvertently lives in us and when we are deep in a relationship with someone we're suppose to love and build with; however we fail to realize that competing against our love ones while secretly pushing them away.

If you have not been to Diesel Barbershop @ Cityline
One cool Texas afternoon, I decided to treat myself to a grooming session which turned out to be a new found joy. Its not often that men slow down and enjoy some of the greater things life has to offer after putting in hard work. Well my trip to the Diesel Barbara Shop in Richardson, TX gave me a new found respect for slowing down. I booked an appointment with Alisha and she took good care of me, but let me tell you about the experience when I first hit the door,

Toxic Mother
Yeah, I said it! Respect my opinion and know that the pain and hurt has to stop somewhere. The lack of accountability is a shame, and we a have to do better instead of hiding the truth and deflecting the pain toward the offspring. Far too many babies are growing up with identity issues and lack of self esteem because the mother has bullied their child based on the simple fact that her storyline marriage did not turn out like a Disney adventure.

The Man with Time
Where are the men who take women out and get to know them these days? This is the number one questioned asked by a woman who falls short of the concept of today's man. Not to be insulting or combative, but with the changing dynamics of dating, one must understand that the mentality of men changed as well. I will explain to why men are selective and what can be done to help navigate in this dating market. No, the dating market doesn't have pee in it, some people need to rid themselves of a piss-poor selfish attitude and HEAL before considering dating. I speak from common experiences. I know there are women out there that do the good things, but in most cases, those women are out there doing good for the wrong guy.

Home of the Thousandaire
When I first moved to Dallas from Atlanta, I thought something was a bit off when thinking about the social scene. I have had the pleasure of living in some top-tier cities during my time and when moving to Dallas, the social life was not even on my mind. The mindset of dating was far from me, because after living close to Los Angeles a few years and Atlanta for ten years and even a taste of DC; I had a slight idea that the quality of women I was going to run into here in Dallas was nothing like I experienced before.
