Will AI be able to achieve self-awareness?
Artificial intelligence can be described as the creation of systems that are not human but have cognitive abilities similar to those of people, such as the use of language, perception and the ability to make decisions. This represents a very ambitious goal and raises extremely challenging questions about the essence of the human mind and its connection to the brain. Despite these challenges, it is a project that has clear and precise objectives, so it is possible to measure its progress and understand how far it is to reach those goals. At present, artificial intelligence is quite limited compared to human intelligence, but the achievements in certain fields are impressive. The extrapolation of these achievements indicates that the creation of systems with abilities equal to or superior to those of humans is only a matter of time.

Your Voice Deserves to Be Heard, Even If It Shakes
For a long time, I thought confidence had to come first. I believed that before I spoke up, shared my ideas, set boundaries, or went after what I wanted, I needed to feel steady, calm, and certain. I thought confident people didnβt hesitate. I thought their voices didnβt waver.

3:40am
There is a mourning in living, In waking every day, And remaining, Where the slings of fate can reach you, And conjure to your mind, Such futures immaterially real and forboding, That you pray for mercy, Pray for lacklustre and dry numb deadness, That you'd worry people if they chose to hear, If you chose to talk, If you made any choice at all, For once.

Yelling for the Sheep
You think you know the story of the old-country farmer, but thereβs a whole other side lost to history. In the late eighteenth century, in a small village seventy miles outside of Valladolid, Spain, there was a young man named Ramon Marin. He had just inherited a small sheep farm from his father, Antonio, who passed away seven weeks ago. His mother, Alma, had died years before, soon after he came of age.

Speaking to Time Instead of the Room
Much of modern communication is oriented toward immediacy. Writing is framed as something meant to be consumed quickly, reacted to instantly, and replaced just as fast by whatever comes next. Under this model, the value of a piece is measured almost entirely by its initial reception. If it does not land immediately, it is treated as a failure. This assumption narrows the purpose of writing and misunderstands how meaning actually travels through time.

Vicious is a fabulously funny romp
Vicious is a brilliantly funny sitcom from the British Broadcasting company. It is about an elderly gay couple living in London who have been together for as long as time and their sarcastic wit and banter towards one another is what the show is based on. This show has heart in it too and a fabulous heart at that. I found this show quite by accident and I am glad that I did because it is a good laugh and good fun. It only lasted for two seasons and it ended happily the couple were united in holy matrimony. Peace.
