F**K GP
Gastroparesis. My first thought was "what the fuck is that?" *** All I knew was I had been sick for about two months nonstop. For two whole months I was nauseated and my stomach was always bloated. Acid sloshed around my stomach constantly burning me from the inside out. I would try to eat at first and feel like I was going to throw up, and sometimes actually throw up, within 30 min of eating. I called my doctor and I was told I couldn't get in for another two weeks. Furious, I made the appointment and continued trying to solve it on my own.

Fasting
For ages, people have restricted their diet in a variety of ways for various purposes. People fast for religious reasons (some Christians during lent, Muslims during Ramadan, etc.), political reasons (hunger strikes such as Mohandas Ghandi’s hunger strikes, the 1981 Northern Irish Hunger Strikes, etc.), and for medicinal benefits. While I could write expansively on all of these, instead I would like to talk to you about the growing evidence that intermittent and alternate day fasting promote weight loss, longevity, and a variety of other benefits.

Life with Fibromyalgia

I can’t remember if I have ever seen one for fibromyalgia, but I can remember the handful of articles about which celebrities have it. And on paper it looks like this small thing that just means you’re in pain and you can take whatever medications and life goes back to normal as if there is nothing wrong. I hate to say it... but that is a very painful lie.
