Beautifully Broken
Beautifully Broken There are times when we need to break to find the light inside to shine like never before. Doctors' office and my hopes are high to get cleared to return to work. Weeks of passing out like those fainting goats. Seizures and bruises. Fear, panic, and those who care for me, watching helplessly as I go through something horrific. Iv drips, heart monitors, medications, catheterized, bed restrictions and feeling as if I was leaving this world.

How to Choose the Right Dentist?
Yearly health check-ups should never be missed. Every family has a doctor who is a trusted friend, and every member goes to him for treatment and advice. Lung cancer is a condition which is very rarely detectable in the early stages. It does not show any severe symptoms in the earlier days when the condition is just setting in on the body. After cancer advances into the more complicated and final stages, the symptoms and the signs set in and can be seen by the individual getting affected.

Migraine: The Silent Suffering
The first time I realized I was sick and in pain was in 1957. I was 2 years old, sitting on a piano stool getting my photo taken, wearing a grey Russell Sage College sweatshirt and corduroy pants with cuffed legs that had a checkered print on the cuffs. My brain was buzzing with keen observations and excruciating pain behind my left eye. Nausea welled up inside me. I was dying to be anywhere but on that stool. I think my mind recorded every sight, sound and smell in that room. The window, the curtains, the light was so bright coming through the window and shining in my face. I was sick and I knew it. This was my first memory of a long journey of chronic pain and suffering beyond what anyone should have to bear or deserves.

Ten Days to Suffer
According to Buddha, "Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional." It is possible to experience pain without having to suffer from it, but in order for that to happen, one has to let nature to take its course. One has to have the strength to let go of the things that worry them, and just be still for a moment to allow things to fall in place. In my case, I wasn't strong enough, but I did learn from those experiences, and took that lesson to heart. It was in early January of 2016 that I suffered from Mononucleosis, during that time, I also pretended that I was okay just so that I would be released early from the hospital, even when I felt terribly sick, but in the end, I had learned to accept things for the way they were.
