The Importance of the 7 Chakras in Your Body
Is your energy constantly feeling drained? Realign your energy fields (chakras) and instantly heal your body naturally!

What is a chakra?
Chakra (known and pronounced as “cha”-“kra”) is an ancient Sanskrit word that literally translates to mean wheel, circle or energy center.
The chakra system we know today originated in India around 1500 BC in the oldest text known as the Vedas.
Within every living being exists seven centers located in their body with this spinning energy. It starts at the base of your spine and moves all the way up to the very top of your head.
This is because the life force, or prana, that moves inside of you is spinning and rotating nonstop on a daily basis!
These seven main chakras are the energy centers everyone has within our bodies in which energy naturally flows through.
If you happen to have any blocked energy in the chakras, for any reason, it can and often leads to sickness, sore throat, heartburn, body pains, drained energy and even extreme levels to the point where you feel lifeless (colds, flu-like symptoms).
So it's extremely vital and most important to understand what we can do to keep this energy flowing as freely as possible as well as what each chakra represents.
Breakdown of the Energy of the Chakras
All of our cells work all day long emitting and transferring energy in numerous ways.
Everything in our universe is made of energy, from the smallest puddle to the biggest ocean, the mountains, the trees as well as each individual cell in our bodies.
The chakras represent certain particular parts of our physical body, as well as distinct parts of our consciousness.
Our conscious mind is responsible for how we perceive our reality, and represents everything that is possible for us to experience.
All of our senses, perceptions, and different states of awareness can be divided into seven categories, and each of those categories are connected or associated with a specific chakra.
Whenever you feel tension in your consciousness, you will feel it in the chakra associated with the part of your consciousness that is experiencing the stress, as well as in the parts of the physical and energy body associated with that chakra.
When you experience pain or hurt in a relationship, you tend to feel it in your heart. The same ways that when you are nervous, your legs tremble, and your bladder becomes weak signaling you to use the bathroom.
When tension or pain exists in a particular part of your consciousness, the chakra associated with that part of your consciousness, detects the tension of that chakra location of the body.
If the tension continues over an extended period of time or reaches a particular degree of intensity, it will then create a symptom on the physical level that in turn requires some form of energy healing (chakra healing, yoga, meditation) to resolve it.
Nonetheless, the more you pay attention, you'll see that the symptom will always alert you to communicate to you through your body exactly what you have been doing to yourself subconsciously.
The Importance of the Crown Chakra
Each of our chakra energy fields spins in a clockwise direction, and as it moves, the energy of our body moves out into the field around us, and it spins counterclockwise to pull energy from our external world (and the people in it) into our body.
What determines the direction of our energy is the frequency state of our chakras that will flow according to the energy that's either drawn into our body or released outwardly.
The Crown Chakra, or seventh chakra, is located at the top of the head and is our direct connection to the Universe.
It has also been seen as the center for deeper connection with ourselves and deeper connection with the very life force that is greater than ourselves.
It is most known as the center for trust, inspiration, happiness, devotion and positivity. It signifies beauty, renewal, and also purity.
Fun fact: The Seventh Chakra disperses Universal energy or life force into the other six chakras located below it.
Our Seven Life-Force Energy Centers

It's important to note that each of our chakras are associated with a different set of organs and systems as stated below.
The correlating chakra colors and locations in the body are:
- Root chakra (red)Location - The base of the spine
- Sacral chakra (orange)Location - Just below the navel
- Solar Plexus chakra (yellow)Location - Stomach area
- Heart chakra (green)Location - The center of the chest
- Throat chakra (blue) Location - Base of the throat
- Third Eye chakra (indigo)Location - Forehead, just above area between the eyes
- Crown chakra (violet)Location - Top of the head
Healthy and Balanced!
In an individual that is healthy and balanced, the seven chakras provide the exact amount of energy directly to every part of their mind, body, and spirit.
However, if one of your chakras is too open and spinning too quickly, or if it is too closed and moving slowly, your health will suffer a great deal. So it's wise to practice meditation (simple 10 minute deep breathing to center yourself and create balance).
By learning about the 7 chakras, you can become more in tune with the natural energy cycles of your body.
You can use this information to connect physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances with the chakras that empower them.
If you have a healthy, properly functional chakra system, you may often tend to feel deeply connected with the harmonious exchange of energy with all that is around you.
When any particular area or of our chat energy system is blocked, we experience physical difficulties and inbalances that often cause disease.
Some issues are headaches or migraines, digestive problems such as gas, diabetes, nausea, and unexplained illness, fibromyalgia, fear, anxiety, poor nutrition health and diet, sore throat, flu like symptoms, addiction, obesity, hormone imbalances, restlessness, ulcers, celiac’s disease and liver disease, back pain, and a sleep of other issues.
Anytime you feel "off," you can literally equate it to a wheel on your bike or car falling off which typically will leave you feeling "unbalanced."
Chakra bracelets, when worn, help to keep the seven components at their right energy levels. The healing the bracelet wearer receives is determined by the color and power within each of the gemstones or crystals. They are literally meant to absorb any negative energy so that only the positive energy is left to be enjoyed and absorbed.
Of course, with those discoveries, you can begin to balance your chakras and live a healthy and harmonious life.
The Importance of the Naval/Solar Plexus Chakra
The third chakra is the center of the energy associated with willpower and also our ego also know as the seat of emotions (it's where the butterfly feelings occur).
This chakra is the source directly related to personal power, self-belief and self worth.
It represents the core of our personality, our identity or the "ego."
Ever notice those around you who are successful in whatever they do: they stand tall (upright), speak with poise, conviction and strength, and look others straight in the eye.
Their personal power is fierce and strong and they are very comfortable using it!
By the way, personal power does not mean power over others in no way shape or form, it simply means self-mastery or the ability to master your thoughts and emotions, to overcome any fear and take appropriate action in any situation.
What happens when your solar plexus chakra is blocked?
When your solar plexus chakra is blocked, life becomes a series of disappointments and frustrations.
People with a weak solar plexus chakra often view themselves as victims. They pessimistically walk with their heads down, get involved with narcissists, put up with poor treatment and they have considerably low expectations and aspirations for themselves. They can be quite laid-back and shy and rarely take the leadership role—but are quick to sarcastically put the leaders down!
Persistent lack of self worth and self confidence diminishes self value and their will to do anything meaningful with their lives and instead end up settling for a dull, frustrating existence overall.
It's quite beneficial when we realize that it really doesn’t take much for the solar plexus or any of our chakras to become blocked or weakened.
It may be seen by others as a result of poor feedback, rejection, lack of affection, criticism, and being ignored or unappreciated.
If you find that you feel that your ideas, words and or efforts are being ignored or unappreciated, you particularly have an imbalance within the solar plexus chakra.
Some people who struggle with feelings of inadequacy will often times dramatically overcompensate with certain things.
This false appearance of bravado and self-glorification may indeed give off a feeling of over confidence or even a bit of arrogance, but it is false and often fades away over time, leading to serious depression and further over-compensatory behavior and even multiple mental illnesses.
A closed third chakra can manifest itself as having a physical and mental problem arises within.
Because this particular chakra is located in the center of the body it is correlated to our core center and acts as the storehouse of energy for our vital organs.
Physical difficulties and imbalances often originate in this specific area.
It is highly important to take note and practice self care and to learn yourself and how certain outside energies affect you to be able to sustain a healthy reaction to whatever energy is trying to bring you down.
