What if tomorrow never comes?

Have you ever thought about tomorrow which may never come?

Would you hug the ones you love,

Would you speak unspoken words?

What if your soul decides to go?

Would you stop and take it slow?

What if today is your life’s last day?

Would you find a reason, a reason to stay?

Would you draw your sword?

Would you have the last word?

Would you win the battle?

Who’s the one who’d settle,

Right behind your back, ready to attack?

Ready to buy you some time?

Time for a drop of wine,

time for a last embrace,

Time to see again your grumpy face.

Who’s that one and only?

Whom you’d open your heart,

Begging death for a new start?

What if tomorrow never comes?

Would you kneel and pray,

Just to find a way?

Would you beg for mercy,

Who’d be the last one you’d like to see?

Would you think it’s way too early,

Not having enough time for being sorry?

Would you beg for one more day

To put all the things in their right way?

Would you beg for one last day,

To start making things in a whole different way?

What if tomorrow never comes?

What if the sun will set forever

Waiting for the death to come over?

What if you’ll die tomorrow?

Would you beg for a new chance?

Would you dance a final dance?

Would you try to fix damages done by ages?

What if tomorrow isn’t written in the stars?

Would you finally heal your scars?

Would you start to live today,

Start to feel alive every single day?

Would you speak your heart,

Would you forget about those always apart?

Would you start to gather all the family together?

What if tomorrow isn’t written in your faith?

Would you start to go on straight?

Would you try to win the war,

Would you start to soar,

up in the hills,

Forgetting about all your ills?

What if tomorrow will never come,

Would you forget about the sorrow?

Would you pray today for a chance to a brand new tomorrow?

Would you kiss your children’s forehead,

Would you gratefully kiss your mother’s hand?

Perhaps tomorrow will never come,

But there’s one thing we should know,

Being alive is living every single day,

Like it’s the last one on your calendar.

It is being grateful for every morning sunray.

Because once we are born, a death we owe, and maybe still…that’s not gonna be tomorrow.
