Politics does not dictate our collective cultural mindset as much as it simply reflects it; We've got to look in the mirror sometimes, and we've got one.
The Ghost of Christmas Party Past
The Downing Street Christmas party 2020 may have lost Johnson the parliamentary Tory party and the grassroots party. The recent loss of a safe Tory seat may end his Prime Ministership and the United Kingdom looks less likely to survive with every day that passes.

Democracy and Free-Market Capitalism? Probably Not Eternal
Rules are important. When you follow a common set of rules, you ensure a certain level of fairness to all those involved. This is why institutions are important in a democracy. We vote, and we expect the people we believe in the most to win the vote and bring us necessary changes. Why Do Indians Who Migrate To the US Excel, Whereas India Continues To Lag In Innovation

Right from laudatory messages to straight out fawning, we just cannot seem to shake off the highs and the kicks about our compatriots in the US scaling greater heights. Whether is Satya Nadella of Microsoft or Sundar Pitchai of Google, or the latest addition to the ranks of successful Indian immigrants, Parag Agrawal, who was named as CEO of Twitter, there are many instances of Indians who upon graduation (invariably they are from one of our IITs) migrate to the US and then lead lives of accomplishment and fulfillment.

Alba, Independence, Coronavirus and England’s drift to Fascism
Alba seem to have captured a large percentage of right wing Scottish Nationalists. some left wingers worried about things like gender reassignment and who want another referendum TODAY, despite polls showing the result would likely be a NO vote (anyone with good evidence to the contrary DO Let me know).
