A campaign aimed at eliminating sexism in football has been launched in the United Kingdom. The HerGameToo movement aims to be the catalyst for positive change in the game. After being founded by twelve passionate, female football fans, the movement is driven using the same ideology initially used when founding a non-profit organisation, which follows elements of support, empowerment, and progress. The founding members of the campaign are committed to growing the movement with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed and respected equally.

Rose Ayling-Ellis has lifted the 2021 Strictly Come Dancing title after claiming victory over John Whaite and in the final that took place in London. The Eastenders actress lifted the glitterball trophy along side professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice. Ellis is well recognised by many people due to the part she plays in BBC soap opera Eastenders. She plays Frankie Lewis in the programme and is well recognised for taking on challenging storylines.

Boris Johnson Announces Plans To Get The UK Vaccinated
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has set out his plans to defeat the Omicron variant of Covid 19 and make sure everyone remains safe and healthy. In his latest briefing from Downing Street, he declared his intention to ensure that everyone over eighteen will be offered a Covid 19 booster in order to protect themselves from contracting the new Omicron variant. It has been discovered that even people who are double jabbed are not protected from the new variant. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that the country will move on to Plan B with regard to restrictions to try and control the number of cases of Covid 19 that there are . Cases have been increasing dramatically recently due to the new South African variant of the disease which is called Omicron. Not much is known about the new variant yet but it is believed that if people are double jabbed and have had their Covid 19 booster, they will be able to protect themselves from experiencing severe symptoms due to the disease.

New South African Covid Variant Begins To Spread
The number of cases of a new variant of the Covid 19 virus is beginning to rise across the UK. Salford City Council Gives Approval For New Houses To Be Built
Proposals for around forty five new homes to be constructed off Blandford Road next to the Albion Academy in Charlestown have been given the approval by Salford City Council's planning and transportation regulatory panel. Investigations Underway In To Liverpool Terror Attack
An explosion which occurred outside Liverpool Women's Hospital on Remembrance Sunday has been declared a terrorist incident by Counter Terrorism Policing North West. A taxi exploded and burst in to flames shortly before 11am at the drop off zone near the entrance to the hospital. The passenger was killed in the blast but the driver escaped with injuries caused by the explosion.

Campaign Arranged To Help Raise Awareness For World Stroke Day
Around a hundred thousand people have a stroke every year in the UK. That's according to national statistics from the Stroke Association who hope to raise awareness of the condition in preparation for World Stroke Day which is an annual event which occurs on the 29th October. If somebody suffers a stroke, every second matters if you want to save that person's quality of life. As soon as a stroke occurs, brain tissue and millions of neurons begin to fade away.
