BBQ Chicken Fries
If you are looking for a tasty late night meal or party food, this dish is for you! Not only is THIS recipe amazing, but if you feel the need to make any modifications, you absolutely can! The great thing about this dish is you can make it 100% your own. We decided on more of a BBQ taste, but if you wanted more of a tangy flavor you can switch out the BBQ sauce for mustard, or even make it a nacho-supreme style dish. Your options are really endless, which makes this one of my favorites! Now, if your taste buds are begging for this dish, look no further! This recipe is quick and easy, so let's get started!

Signs You Should Be a Chef
Being a chef is part art, part chemistry, part chaos, and an all-around entirely unique career path. My Love Affair with Sugar
When I was a child... right up until I was in my early forties.. I could eat anything that I wanted and I didn't gain weight. I was so skinny when I was 10 that my mother decided to supplement my diet, or lack of diet, with an interesting concoction called beef, liver, and wine. A spoonful a day was supposed to increase one's appetite. Unfortunately, it had the reverse effect on me. It basically made me spew out what little food I had in my stomach to begin with.

Cookie Dough Cake
This has to be one of my favorite cakes ever! My friend asked me to make a chocolate chip cookie dough cake for her boyfriend's birthday, and I did not want to disappoint! This cake has three layers of vanilla chocolate chip cake, a thick layer of vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream frosting, and giant edible cookie dough balls! It is a lot of steps; but I promise you, you will not want to miss this.

My Top 6 Gluten-Free Vegan Biscuits
If you're like me, biscuits are life. Being British, you are basically raised on biscuits as a kid. So it can be pretty rubbish moving to a gluten-free, vegan lifestyle. Well that was three years ago; there are so many to choose from now!

Peli Peli Kitchen
"Welkom" to Houston's best Southern African-inspired restaurant that serves the best comfort foods. Everything in this restaurant is Instagram-worthy and here's why! When you walk in, you are greeted by young enthusiastic people who look like they're your average coffee shop drinkers. The place has an equal balance of light and vibrant colors, which for some people, like me, is really important. Nothing is more uncomfortable than eating in a dark, dull, and colorless restaurant. The way you order your food feels like Luby's with only a limited menu, but here's the thing: It's OK because their menu is quite tasty. Their prices are a bit high; they're not 50-dollars-a-plate high, but I did pay 18 dollars for just a plate and a side.

Tales of the Coffee God
And it came to pass that the Coffee God came to a strange foreign land and this land was known to those who dwelt there as the Hazelnut Valley. And in this land the people did walk and sing beneath strange trees, called the tree of the hazelnut. And the nut of this tree they did pick and verily place the nectar from this nut in the mugs of their coffee. And they mixed the nut nectar with the coffee and would quaff this beverage on a regular basis in great quantities and were very satisfied and pleased with themselves thereby, and they did have a great amount of pleased talk about this ‘hazelnut coffee.’

Food Tips and Hacks Everyone Deserves to Know
For a fundamental task everyone should be able to handle by the time they reach adulthood, the word "cooking" strikes fear into a LOT of people. I personally have the opposite reaction with that word. I LOVE cooking. Like seriously. It's the career I 100 percent want to pursue for the rest of my life. But this isn't about me. This is about YOU. When I ask people if they can cook, some popular answers are; "I can make a mean bowl of cereal," "I can boil water, that's about it," and "Box mac and cheese is my specialty." If you are someone who has any response similar to the examples above, this post is for you. And even if you do dabble in a bit of cooking now and again, here are some tips to take simple foods to the next level, or just improvise in a pinch. Because let's face it, we're not all Gordon Ramsay. The best of us can't afford to stock our kitchens with the finest gadgets and ingredients out there. But that's ok. Because throughout years of taking the struggle bus express to create amazing dishes on a budget, I've picked up individual tips and hacks that you'll have access to right here.
