Speak the Truth
We all are guilty of it. We tell blind lies to spare the present vibe, but that tiny spark, no matter how innocent, will only grow into a giant bolt of lightning. Any empathetic person like myself will always want to comfort others; we hate to see anyone in pain, but life is full of pain. It is not possible to shelter anyone from all the harsh negatives. We need to learn to grasp this pain and use it to our advantage, moving forward with more strength. Let go of the emotional reaction and skip straight to the empowerment.

Cryohelmet Review: A 3 Year Perspective
***Disclaimer: I was originally gifted this product in 2014 for testing purposes. All opinions are my own*** Over the past 30 years, I’ve sampled a wide variety of products geared towards people living with migraine. Finding relief, even if it’s only temporary, can make a world of difference for a person facing intolerable amounts of pain. Whether it was based on the company's claims or testimonies of reliable sources, I’m always up for testing a new item without harmful side effects.

7 Ways to Cultivate Happiness
When you have a bad day, there is nothing like going down the YouTube rabbit hole of puppy videos to make you feel better. While watching puppy videos is a good short-term tactic for lifting a bad mood, science has found that incorporating the following activities into your life helps create longer-lasting happiness — after you’re done watching the videos, of course.

Mentality Is Everything
All too often as humans we are faced with day-to-day trials that can either cause our destruction or send us to the highest peaks of our lifetime. What’s critical is to not lose sight of our own importance on this earth. Yes, we all come face to face with struggles that can lead us to drinking, drugs, sex, and anything to sterilize our thoughts of reality. We can also be too overbearing and critical of ourselves as individuals, maybe think way too highly of ourselves and take a massive blow if someone says otherwise. This can be both extremely damaging and rewarding to our relationships, personalities, communities, and so forth. Sometimes the recovery is harder than the mishap itself. We, as people, should remember that me make a imprint on each and every person we come in contact with on a daily basis. Even if it’s just a simple smile or a wave to someone you don’t know. Everything you do impacts everyone in some way or another. There needs to be a balance in everything on earth. You can think the same about your person. You need balance. Your own stability and self-worth. No one person or thing can give you these qualities. They are earned through experience and knowledge. You can’t expect a baby to be born knowing how to dress itself, or a two-year-old how to drive a car. Why place such expectations on yourself then? You try, fail, and try again to succeed. With that being said, should you find yourself not feeling your most optimistic and best self, I offer my go-to's as a vice to aid in a complete and total rejuvenating process.

Losing Over 100lbs, Battling Anorexia, Overcoming
What a journey this has been. Back in 2003, I started my fitness journey with Beachbody. I was topped out at my highest weight ever, 258lbs (if not a little higher than that because I got embarrassed and stopped weighing in after I hit that).

A Meditation Strategy
Are you having trouble meditating properly? It's most likely because you're a visual learner like I am, and you have a hard time keeping your mind focused. I just couldn't do meditation. Even if I sat completely still with no distractions, my mind would always wonder.

Me, Myself, and I
One of the biggest regrets of my high school career is not loving myself. I spent all of my time in high school believing that my self-worth was completely based on what others' perceptions were of me. I thought that I wasn't worth a single thing because other people didn't think of me as attractive. It seemed like everyone else was getting into relationships while I just wasn't. This not only affected my mental health, but it affected my physical health, as well. I started to gain weight and my depression started to make me break out constantly, and I was even starting to lose my hair.
