The Truth About Being Healthy
Over the last months or so I have done five things: I decided that I'm fat. I know that 'technically' I have fat, but I feel fat. I have enough fat on places like my stomach that make me feel bad about myself. So bad that I've labeled myself 'fat'. I started following a bunch of Instagram 'health' accounts which all say a bunch of confusing things that contradict each other and use a bunch of different rules about eating healthy but I follow anyway to feel like I'm doing something right. I started trying to eat healthier. I never ate badly so to speak, but I decided that something is only healthy if there's a fruit or vegetable involved. I considered going vegan, but I also decided I love cheese too much. I tried to work out more. My job requires me to be on my feet the entirety of my nine hour shifts but that didn't feel like enough. I started doing cardio once a week and I felt jealous of my friends who had the confidence to go to the gym in the first place, let alone use any of the gym machinery. I also got jealous of those who looked good in Gymshark gym clothing - major body confidence crusher. I got a calorie counter app. I had it for three days and it was awesome and I stayed on target and it helped me feel like I was doing something good. After those three days the app told me my free trial was up and I'd have to pay for it. I deleted the app.

How to Treat Your Back Pain
While it’s still more likely that the elderly will experience lower back pain, not only will younger people experience it as well, but the pain can also ‘hit’ a person’s middle and upper back. Quick Posture Guide to Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself
Firstly, let’s start with the basics. Our bodies are designed to move. If you aren’t moving, then it is not going to perform as it should. When we sit for long periods of time, or stand still for too long, this can cause the body to seize up and create pain. You may have felt this feeling, maybe at work, watching your favourite sports team, or even when you wake up in the morning.

After Bariatric Surgery
I had bariatric surgery in November of 2017. On that day I weighed in at 387 pounds. My highest weight was well over 400 pounds and I stand five feet 11 inches tall. I didn't have any major medical issues besides having arthritis in my knees from playing several years of sports, with migraines from prior concussions. I didn't have diabetes, I didn't have high blood pressure, so I didn't have all of those typical "fat person" diseases. I don't mean to sound harsh when I use the term fat person, but it is still socially acceptable to berate someone for their size. So why shouldn't I be able to use a term that I was called quite frequently?

Body Issues
Being in my early 20s, I never thought about my weight. I never thought about having kids either. When I turned 21, I was pregnant with my first child and I had gained a little weight, but easily lost the excess gain through breast feeding. I was pregnant again a few years later and I gained 20 kilograms with that pregnancy. I assumed, the weight would "peel off" the same way my first one did—it didn't.

Finding Your SPF
As Spring seems to have sprung, we all know that Summer is not far behind; with Summer comes days at the beach, boating, barbecues, and lots of sunshine. It's, in one's own opinion, the best time of the year. But sadly, days in the sun means a higher risk of sunburns, and potential risks of skin cancer, and severe sun damage. Fortunately, most sunscreens on the market today are more than efficient; however, finding the right one for your skin type is vital to save time in the sun, and for your skin, including any medical conditions you may have.

Inclusion of Supplements for Body Building
Supplements can significantly help in your bid to build up muscle resulting in an increase in body size. And you need to supply your body with the best muscle growth supplement. Your diet is still the number one, though it doesn’t hurt to include a few of the right supplements as well. This would barely be a complete bulking book without only touching just on a few.

When Can You Come Back to the Gym After Labor?
Women are rarely satisfied with their physical shape after labor. There was hardly ever a novice mother that didn’t promise herself to get fit as soon as possible. However, not all of them keep their promise. Raising a child is not an easy thing to do, and it’s normal that you may not have the time and resources for the gym.

Do You Want to Feel a Little More Manly?
Guys want to be guys. The trouble is not every "dude" knows what it takes to become more manly. Websites popped up discovering the topic of embracing a more manly attitude. YouTube channels center on the subject of becoming an alpha male. The channels draw in thousands—if not millions—of views. And look at all the books covering the same topic. Some gurus even sell high-priced courses on the art of manliness!

Don't Rely on BMI
This is something I touched upon in an earlier article concerning weight loss, and is something I'm passionate about debunking when it comes to the pursuit of a healthy weight. BMI, or "Body Mass Index," is supposed to be a rough indicator of what your weight (or mass) should be in relation to your height. Categories include underweight, normal, overweight, obese, and extremely obese.
