politics
Politics does not dictate our collective cultural mindset as much as it simply reflects it; We've got to look in the mirror sometimes, and we've got one.
Poverty is a Feature, Not a Bug
This is an uncut, unvarnished fulmination about US economics, living in the US, growing up “American”, etc. It’s raw, not polished and dropped on the table in front of you. It’s a reality check for some, and a wake up call for others. Some may disagree with some points, but I’ve lived this for 50+ years. I have a lot of experience and done a ton of research on these topics.

Has the Democratic Lost the Trust of the People?
The Democratic Party seems to be going against the will of the people in many things, such as political candidates, and law-making. Going against the will of the people is what some believe is part of what has caused the loss of the people's trust in the Democratic Party. During the 2016 election, instead of allowing the candidates that the people were clamoring behind, the DNC decided to stomp that candidate out instead. They forced Bernie Sanders to retire from the presidential race, twice, for Hillary Clinton to be the candidate to go against Donald Trump. (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/bernie-sanders-presidential-campaign-sues-dnc-over-clinton-data-breach-n482941). Then, during the 202 elections, instead of taking the chance to bring out a candidate that the people wanted, they chose to suppress them. They decided to go with the former vice president, Joe Biden, who seems to have a pretty bad record. When the democrats took over the government, they did not do a single thing; they hadn't worked to take down some of the bad policies that came from the previous two administrations. Instead of working together with their congress and party members of the party in congress who tried to get some good laws passed, their own party blocked them. All of these things have caused the people to lose trust in the Democratic Party, and many are moving towards the Republican Party (Grand Old Party) because of this (one of the laws blocked: https://www.cnbc.com/2021/12/15/house-speaker-nancy-pelosi-opposes-banning-stock-buys-by-congress-members.html)
